NYC Spring Sessions

This is probably one of the most unique sessions I had the pleasure to work on.

The track was "Farewell", by Nelson Foltz, who's played with Maria Schneider, Tony Williams, and Steely Dan, to name a few. He co-arranged it with Alan Ferber for a trombone choir (that's EIGHT trombones,btw), and had the most moving vocal performance by Rebecca Martin.

The choir had the talents of Max Seigel, Nick Grinder, Ryan Keberle, Joe Fielder, Dave Nelson, Adam Machaskee, Dave Boschen and Jeff Nelson, all conducted by Mr. Ferber.

The emotion this tune brings out is beyond words... hope to be able to share it with you soon.
